The only one I think could legitimately be called terrible was the Super Mario World one where they made Yoshi Jar Jar Binks before Jar Jar Binks was a thing. It does say something that I DIDN'T watch the Super Mario World show lol I was 11 at the time, so I may have also kind of aged out of that. With SMB 3, every episode opened with the map screen of the world the episode was set in, and just seeing game footage at all on TV seemed like a novelty back then.
