I like his comedy. He did well as Star Lord and in Parks and Rec.

I don't hate him. He had a big pair of shoes to fill as the voice of Mario and so far he's been a major disappointment.

At this point I think the "Chris Pratt hate" is a myth created by the right. I really have seen any genuine hate for him.

No thinking he is a terrible choice for Mario and Garfield doesn't mean I hate him. It just means he is a bad fit for the characters.

* when someone made a topic about a random guy beating up a random person at a subway and you for some odd reason commented that you wanted that person to be forcibly castrated (his crime was not sexual at all)
* when someone made a topic about a woman skinning a husky puppy because she wanted to kill a wolf and you responded by saying that we would not care if it were a pitbull
* when people made a topic about movie names and you responded by posting that picture you post fairly often about someones little sister having hemorrhoids
* when someone made a topic about a tourist destroying two ancient Roman statues and you defended it because the church got some (non-Roman) artifacts in questionable ways CENTURIES ago.

I do not know what is your problem, but you do realize that your hot takes are questionable at best, correct?

Nobody hates him for his portrayal of Mario. You're going like 5 layers deep on the scapegoating.

I like him in parks and guardians.. actually lemme go down his IMDb and see what Ive actually seen him in..

jurassic world was okay, the second one was awful.. but I thought he was okay in both.. Lego movie was great, second one was dumb.. tomorrow war was dumb.. onward was great.. huh, he likes voice acting work. Oh yeah he was the guy at the desk in Her. That movie was amazing. His part was minor though. And then moneyball, also great, also minor role. He was in NINE episodes of the OC?! I dont remember him in that at all!

so, all in all, chris Pratt gets a B+ from me

Do you think a major studio is going to have a high profile motion picture's main speaking role be that of a pretty blatantly stereotypical and exaggerated Italian accent?

I love Martinet as Mario, but he's very definitively a small number of lines kind of role for that character.

you people need to stop associating Christian and religious with the brand of Christianity particular to the US that relies on homophobia, racism and prosperity gospel.

I know when the "hate" started. Pratt praised a Mega church that is known mainly for making money off Christian music and Elliot Page pointed out some of the church's dark secrets. That is when the "left hates Chris Pratt" lies started.

Funny thing is Pratt recently confirmed Page right about the church as he condemned it himself. Making the whole thing dumber.

I don't hate him, he just sucks at voicing Mario.

Heard him in the trailer and he sounds like a basic bitch. Don't really care about his other roles, I don't watch that Naruto crap.

The hate was never about Chris Pratt. It was about Hillsong Church which Pratt himself has condemned proving Page was right.
