Dalton for sure. In his first outing he was an angry prick without any reason for being either, and then in his second outing he has every reason to be an angry prick but suddenly becomes happy-go-lucky, short-of-Moore James Bond. Compare to Lazenby whose biggest issue during his one film was how bad his Scottish accent was. Then the actor had to go and speak out about his misgivings with the role--a brutish thug of a man, in the films--and he was sacked as a result, and villainized by the industry. Everything else about his performance? It was good. The movie itself was good, aside from lighting issues. I like Dalton the best, though. I might give it to Daniel Craig, but it wouldn't be that fair since I just didn't like Casino Royale but he might be better in the other movies which I didn't see. So, controversial, I might give it to Sean Connery. Even though he's the most iconic, he was only Bond 6 times and 3 of those movies are trash. --- "Salt cures Everything!" Which is a shame, because Pierce Brosnan may be my favorite version of Bond.
