Theres no point. Theyve priced themselves out of any sort of competition. Jersey Mikes is always the superior choice.

It's been over a year.

Too expensive for super shitty ingredients and hardly any meat. Their prices are trying to make up for paying people $15+ an hour after covid

Yes and it was ridiculously expensive for what I got.

I only go when I remember to bring a coupon, so almost never.

No one could get workers after covid hit. Companies had to increase pay, sometimes significantly, to get help. People making $11 at my job are all making $20 more or now. That's at least a $9 per hour gradual raise over 2 years.

Then everything skyrocketed because the corporate execs aren't taking a pay hit. If you don't see how it's all linked to inflation you're blind.

12-13$ for 1 footlong sub (steak and bacon). meatball was closer to 9$.

Yeah I went a few months ago. The prices were crazy, and the amount of meat of the sub was paltry. I had one of the club sandwiches. I got two slices of roast beef for a footlong sub. The other meats I would at least get 4-6 slices.
I will stick with Jersey Mikes from now on. While they are horribly expensive as well, at least they always put a lot of meat on the subs and are always really good.

subway isnt very good so I only go when I get a gift card either from a friend or when theres extra fuel points to get one

Not for a while. There are about a dozen places to get a sub around here, and most are cheaper, if not outright better.

Not in a long while now. I'm craving one now, but I think I'll try to find something other than Subway for my awesome sandwich

Not ever again. I've discovered Jersey Mike's which is 100 times better

I had a voucher for subway 2.99 for a 6 inch sub and had it and it was delicious just meatballs and cheese toasted on multigrain bread yummy

Never again they're too expensive now

All the Subways in my state have seemingly gotten rid of spicy brown/Dijon mustard, they are trash now

I haven't been to Subway in probably 6 years. I have so many better sandwich options nearby.

It's pretty expensive where I live

I did a couple times like 3 months ago on my lunch break at work.

The first time I got a 6" sweet onion chicken teriyaki, some Sun Chips and a drink. It had so much sauce I felt like I dipped my hands in glue, and the sandwich was tiny

The second time I got a footlong chicken bacon ranch and a drink. It was fine, but it was almost $17. Way more than anything from Subway is worth.

I have no plans to go back.

The one in my mall closed when the pandemic hit. The whole damn food court was closed for until pretty much earlier/mid this year. I was getting sick of it anyway though I would still occasionally go with a friend when we did things. I was into it at first though, now I just go to Jersey Mike's because it's near my mall and I do like it better and think it is better.

I never go out of my way to get a subway sub.

Do any of you have local shops known for their hoagies/subs?! Subway, Jersey Mikes, the Firefighter one, they all pale in comparison to local joints in the northeast. Just wondering if most of you have local spots that you'd choose first, even if the topic is about Subway or chains.

Aridi there was a local pizza joint that used to make these humongous subs for me at way under what it should cost. I could get a twelve inch turkey sub with like it was stupid near 3 lbs of turkey on it for ten bucks. I feel like the owner and the people there just liked me after awhile and I also supported them during the worldwide shutdown. They got turned into a bakery now so I have not gone back since.

I live in the North East too I really don't care about anyone trying to dox me on what little information they could get but this is CE :P

Yes, Kamil, those are the spots! Shame to hear about them post pandemic, but damn those places are home.

Only subs i will actually order or crave. Although i do sometimes prefer to have the artificially softer bread from subway sometimes. Not that publix bread isnt good, just that its filling and not too much flavor.

It was a satellite restaurant to the main place so I feel like maybe there was some pressure to diversify their profile after awhile, but still a bakery? I don't want to walk to a place to get a damn cake. If I want donuts or pastries I'll just go to Tim Horton's they are everywhere. That place was a pizza joint for decades.

I get that. My only real complaint is Publix doesn't have a straight chicken bacon ranch option. I did have them make me a custom chicken tender bacon ranch that didn't turn out like I had hoped. lol

Jreck subs has the softest bread I've ever had on a sub. Love it when they make their special jalapeo bread.

To be fair, he does have a point. If minimum wage goes up to $15 an hour, the value of a dollar will just keep lowering to the extent $15 an hour is an even lower wage to live on.

Sounds like the boars head everroast sub they have with ranch instead of the sauce they use. Made with boars head sliced chicken and bacon. I do like the sauce the use though.

You just reminded me to try to get this sub tomorrow lol
