It's weird the normal enemies are ok so far but the equipment is very expensive

Honestly given how little they had to work with even the SNES games have a surprising amount of really cool details about the BoF world, and BoF 3 is an excellent culmination of plot points that started out in those two games.

I don't think anybody wants to go through the desert again.

One of my favorite games of all time. I wished we could have gotten a sequel. Or even better a game from Teepos perspective after they get jumped

I wish. He seemed really interesting.

I feel I was one of the few who legit liked the Desert. It was pretty unique with interesting mechanics and also was really an amazing example of natural story telling. You feel how terrible it is and then when you find out why it exists, it really informs why you want to stop Myria

I remember fully expecting after the fight with Teepo it was going to be learned he was being controlled, he'd be free of said control and he'd join us for the grand finale. But then he died and I was like "Noooooooo!!!!"

I'm going to give the game 9/10. Imo it beats 4 by a little. Really interesting story overall. Nina sucked ass and I never used her as she was left at lvl 17. My final team was Ryu, Rei and Peco with the occasional use of Momo when I had to.

I always farm fish heads at the fairy village and turn Nina into a death machine because I think she deserves it.

Three will always have a special place in my heart, probably my favorite rpg, but Ive replayed 4 more. It aged a little better imo, and I like the combo system even if I miss proper dragon genes.

Definitely my favourite of the series.

I wish Nina would have been better. She was way better in 4.

Nina can easily be the strongest in the party if you do it right.

However going physical is so quick and easy that it quite frankly isn't worth the investment in Nina unless you wanna go that route.

The only BOF I have left is 2 but I'm playing Shadow Hearts Covenant next. I played the 1st one a while back so it's time for this one now.

Really miss that era of jrpgs in the 90s. Me being a teenager that was a total shut in and loved staying indoors to play every rpg under the sun, good ass times.

I unintentionally spoiled the hell out of my brother with breath of fire 3 since in those days we had to share the bedroom (3 bedroom house+a house full of kids (me, my older brother, and 2 nephews in 1 room, and 2 nieces in the other)=me spoiling my brother in various rpgs since I had all the time in the world to play them and he worked/played basketball/was out with his friends or GF a lot thus couldn't no life rpgs as much as I could). One morning I was up past 5 am just determined to beat the game finally, and right in the middle of the final battle my brother woke up and saw me finishing up the fight+the credits. He was a little annoyed and punched my arm, lol).

There is good equipment in the desert, it's not worth it though; the desert of death is a chore and there's a similar area in 4, just replace desert with plains.

I can do the plains from memory, birds and mountain I cant do that with the desert

1st two are so good.

You played Dragon Quarter yet? Can't really say it's the best in the series but somehow it's still my favorite, the combat is just so satisfying and the game builds tension almost as well as a survival horror game scored by SWANS.
