yemmy 10/15/22 5:45:08 PM #5:	Streaming is the new cable The only networks that ever have anything worthwhile are FX and AMC, and they both have popular streaming services(FX uses Hulu). TNT/TBS suck even worse. The only reason I have cable right now is because I live with my parents. Now the market has too many paid streaming services, each with exclusive content and now theyre cannibalizing each other. Streaming services buying rights to movies is messed up. Last Christmas, nobody got to see Elf for free unless you have HBO max (which isnt free). The issue is that people want to pay ONE monthly fee to see everything they want. Cable also assaults you with ads and they dont take proper precautions to ensure that the commercials play at a reasonable volume. They're still subbed to some streaming services, but they never use them just leave it on old sitcom reruns or DIY shows they've seen a hundred times. That's pretty much why most channels do marathons of only a few shows all day. The target audience now is just older people who leave it on all day and do nothing.
