overall, I prefer Fractured but Whole, but Stick of Truth is more wild and a I found it to be funnier.

edit: you'll get the best experience from Fractured but Whole by playing Stick of Truth first, IMO.

Stick of Truth if you want to be in a 10 hour South Park episode while playing a game

Fractured But Whole if you want better Game Play with a bit of South Park

I started Fractured but Whole, did the first tutorial fight, then I guess I was supposed to hit a button while sliding off a roof. I failed that and died, and since It never saved yet I had to start over.

Stick is better humor-wise, Fractured is better gameplay-wise. Both are great games though.

If you're only going to get one for now but will get the other later, Stick is first chronologically.

EDIT: Also be aware that non-PC versions of Stick are slightly censored in some territories - more the "a few scenes are taken out" variety than the "constant bleeping / widespread dialogue changes" kind. (There's a couple, eg. Germany I believe, where even PC is, but in most places PC is uncensored.)
