X5 is definitely when things started to get a little cagey, but to me its still quite a bit better than X6 I still have to give it to X6 myself mainly because the X5's forced alia conversations making replays annoying, having to kill yourself over and over to run down that doomsday clock just to fight higher level versions of the bosses to get as many parts as you can (which is something a new player wouldn't even know about, meaning they are going to miss every single part besides like, 2 or something like that. To be a little fair, certain reploids carrying parts and said parts being missable if they die is a thing in X6. A lot of those part carrying reploids is in some cheap spots too)....also its impossible to get all the parts, and the stupid RNG story thing in general. Woops, my zero just turned maverick despite leveling him up this playthrough, lol. Speaking of zero, its impossible for him to get all the heart upgrades, X6's level design is definitely some ol' booty butt cheeks, but at least being able to get all parts and decking X and zero out in said parts can reduce a lot of the shenanigans (put some speedster on zero or base X and those pits o' doom ain't gonna' be too much a issue. Donuts pissing you off? Get on zero and spam infinity whatshisname's weapon to clear'em out).
