(Or if you're like Tea and like running Breath of Life just to bully Joey). At best they're a side-deck option but the manga/anime doesn't use a side deck. Blue-Eyes is the only "dragon deck" in the original series iirc and there's no point in running a niche trap when only three of those cards exist in the first place. He'll most of Kaiba's cards arent even dragons. From a writing standpoint these cards exist to force characters into disadvantageous positions just so they can look cool when they finally overcome them.
