Need the best premade salsa we can buy at the store for chips and burritos. I assume the refrigerated stuff is better than the crap they got on the shelves

None. Go to a local restaurant and hope theirs is good.

Either that or tell me when you find one. I tried a few and always found myself settling and enjoying the taste of the chip more than the salsa. The local place I found shut down too. Never found a replacement

Honestly, salsa is one of the easiest, faster things to make. I'd go with homemade unless you really need it in a hurry.

I'm not hispanic but I cook a lot at home. When I dont feel like making my own salsa I get a brand called La Mexicana from my kroger. It'll be in a refrigerated section most likely. Authentic style salsa tends to be more watery than the cheap salty crushed-tomato stuff (that I also like tbh) so be prepared for that.

I've worked with Mexican guys for years and they've always told me that it's very easy to make it yourself.

I miss eating their homemade food every Cinco De Mayo. Homemade tortilla is delicious.

There really aren't any good pre-made salsas unless you get them directly from the Mexican market's deli. And even those are pretty bland. Either buy some from a restaurant or make your own tbh.

I started making my own salsa from my own garden this summer. Tomatoes, fiery jalapeos, and garlic salt - that was it. Stupid simple and awesome. Could probably toss some onion in there, but I didnt grow any.

Going to plant habaneros next year, too.

If you want something that is near the heat level of a habanero and tastes great, try growing a sugar rush pepper, like the sugar rush stripey. I had a huge harvest this year with those
