Clearly, she's a failure as a prime minister unquestionably. However, she still became PM of the UK, a position which afforded her, albeit briefly, more power and fame than all of us will collectively have throughout our entire lives. By any standard, merely becoming a high office holder is pretty obviously a sign of a successful person.
