I have zero interest in comic book nonsense and even I'm well aware of the fact that Marvel makes better movies than DC.

DC has some really good stuff, but it still isn't even close

DC movies, even the mediocre ones, have more soul than the formulaic crap that Marvel has been putting out for some time.

DC's animated stuff is on another level.

Theyve both been very mediocre

I've always enjoyed the top-tier DC movies a lot more than most Marvel movies. The only real exception to that rule is Infinity War, which is so fucking good that it makes my list at #1 for comic book movies.

On average, though, I've liked DC movies more than Marvel movies by a lot. Aquaman was great, Man of Steel was great, Batman v Superman: Ultimate Edition was amazing (also close to #1 overall comic movies for me), Zack Snyder's Justice League slapped so fucking hard, Wonder Woman was awesome (though I haven't watched the second one)...I haven't seen Suicide Squad or The Suicide Squad, but I intend to eventually get to that.

Black Adam was raw and badass. I'll be watching it again when it comes to HBO Max, right away.

Looking forward to the Flash movie soon, too, even though I kind of hate the actor now.

I haven't seen Aquaman or WW2 tho.

But every DC movie that isn't the 3 i mentioned, sucks imo

DC destroys Marvel in the animated movie category. Like if they took the heart and soul of those and put it into the live action movies, they wouldve been so much more.

Aquaman is great. My personal #2 DCEU film

Black Panther 2 looks really good. There is a lot of hype for it

And Antman 3 looks amazing

IDK I don't think it looks good at all. The trailers are all just montage clips of funeral processions and people doing stupid acrobatics with literally no context. The movie might be good but the trailers are just anti hype for me.

Well it has Namor. He's been requested for years. Namor I think has never appeared outside the comics. So this was long needed

namor has been inna buncha cartoons, and maybe even games? I feel like he was in Ultimate Alliance

The only newer DC movies I've watched are the animated ones, which are mostly just okay. I'm not sure why it is, but the major blockbuster live action movies just have no appeal to me. And I like DC more than Marvel. But I also haven't watched an MCU movie since Endgame, so it could just be that comic book movies have lost their appeal in general. DC's animated shows will never get old though. Give me more DC shows as good as Young Justice and I'll be interested.

I think there was a rights issue for a long time that kept him from being used, but evidently it has been resolved.

DCEU doesnt even tip DKR outside one movie.
