It doesnt evaporate like a car or a houses value can, right?. Doesnt it mean when stocks crash is because over selling? So someone is cashing out at the top and in the way down? So the economy crashes and there are people sitting on piles of money while only paying 15% taxes due to long term holding.... I mean at least that my rudimentary understanding --- SEXY SEXY! ... Value is produced and lost based on human labor. When human labor goes down, "value" as a general concept goes down as well, there's less riches in the world. The wealth isn't real it's on paper. Jeff Bezos doesn't have hundreds of billions of dollars. He has millions of shares of Amazon.
