Migos are not from Houston. They were not in the hood, they were in a highly public area. They most likely lived in Hollywood.

And this isn't exclusive to a single race either. Happens in all walks of life. But apparently black artists are the only people who are responsible for their own deaths whenever they had the audacity to feel safe in a public space with other people who look like them.

Why do rappers have to pay for their own security? Why is it that Taylor Swift will get secret service treatment from her label and entire blocks locked down, but Takeoff can't even partake in some after hours partying without getting shot?

What I am hearing now differs from the dominating accounts of what occurred that have already been aired out here but this is what I heard and there is a witness too:

So in Houston there is a mob run by a very influential family, present at the Billiards was J Prince Jr who is pretty much heir to the mob there. Anytime you go to Houston you check in with J, under premise that theyre in charge of protecting the celebrities that come, so at this point in time Migos arent even strapped. So they shoot craps and it gets heated but Quavo and Takeoff try to mediate and bring the peace, Quavo get punched and Takeoff gets between the two. Through the commotion shots ring out and Takeoff is lying dead:
