Fact-checking one side but allowing the other to spread lies is a very bad approach to take. It was bad when the left did it a few years back; it's bad when the right does it now. With that being said, such an approach does not inherently invalidate those fact-checks, either. A lie is still a lie; that doesn't change just because no effort is being made to expose someone else's lies.
