I prefer to eat my salad naked.

Creamy italian when done right followed by regular italian done right.

But the safest bet is always ranch or thousand island. I sometimes go for caesar and balsamic too.

Balsamic vinaigrette

Depends on the type of salad.

the bolthouse yogurt line is really good, and like 1/3rd the calories of regular creamy dressing
the ranch, blue cheese, and caesar are great
makoto ginger dressing is really good for an asian salad
larosa's creamy garlic dressing if idgaf about calories
i buy a lot of the creamy taco sauces from the hispanic aisle and use those on salads too
the ortega/old el paso chipotle ranch and verde sauces are great
sometimes i just use sour cream and chipotle tabasco
sturkey's house balsamic is great

i eat a lot of fuckin salad

Usually like the house vinaigrette. Olive oil and vinegar as a fallback.

I like using dressing because it helps bind a salad and not feel like separate ingredients just sharing a bowl or plate.

I like Russian.
I also enjoy thousand island dressing on burgers.

I usually use honey mustard or a light French dressing with the salads I eat for lunch every day.
As long as it isn't gross like Ranch I'm usually fine with whatever dressing is offered with a salad when I get one at a restaurant.

French.

Olive Oil or Bleu cheese.

Though I just had a salad Olive oil and actual Bleu cheese.
So best of both worlds there.

Probably French for a tossed salad, either that or Italian. Sometimes just olive oil and vinegar

Caesar if it's not homemade.

Though ranch is really good even if it's not for putting on a salad.

Oil and vinegar is probably my favorite unless its a certain style of salad where its complimented by something else, like Caesar.

Interesting...I get the impression this post is a tad sarcastic but I might actually consider Eastern Carolina style sauce on a salad...which is basically just vinegar and peppers. That might actually be decent since I like oil/vinegar and fresh pepper on a salad sometimes

simple homemade vinaigrette with whatever I have on hand (olive oil + anything vinegar based like pickle brine and hot pepper brine + various herbs and spices)
