They see a small box in a bag, and think it might be something neat, like an iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, or even jewelry. It's small and light, so it must be one of those. Jokes on them - it was a PCIe 4.0 m.2 for his PS5. Not exactly sexy, or anything worth stealing if you don't know what it is. Hope it was worth cutting open the bag with a box cutter, damaging the box, then trying to hide your crime by using packing tape on the bag. He got a $40 credit out of it, and I hope Amazon does a forensic investigation into what happened. "How do you know was the delivery driver? It could have been anyone!" I don't think anybody but the delivery driver would have tried to steal it, saw that it wasn't anything worth stealing, then actually delivered it to the house it was supposed to be delivered to. --- Face it Cloud is a gaming icon and has appered in lots of games while mario has only appeared in 2 games sunshine and 64~xSlashbomBx <cite>Alucard188 posted [p:969252154] in My roommat... I was home all day, and didn't hear a car pull up, a driver get out, or the package being delivered. My walls aren't thick enough to hide traffic noise or car doors closing right outside my driveway. So, I'm thinking they were very cautious and quiet about delivering it so they could get away without alerting us. They won't do jack for a low value item. It usually has to be repeated theft and high value items. I even saw them not bother to investigate a stolen ps5. Lots of scummy drivers, customers and even syndicates. I think it's 50/50 on the driver. Having worked at a both UPS and Amazon in the past, during the holiday season both places hire so many extra seasonal bodies because the workload is insane and you better believe in that mix are a bunch of bad apples who steal packages. At UPS once we busted up a ring of thieves who were working with a handful of drivers. They would put a mark on the packages to let the drivers know which ones to dump and they were selling the items online and splitting the money.
