They bought Rare and failed to capitalize on them until they created Sea of Thieves, but that doesn't make up for the failure of literaly hiring Hideki Kamiya to make you an exclusive and you fail at THAT! Next year is the first time in a Decade MS will have put any level of effort into curating their own games, and by "any level of effort" i mean "buying Bethesda so Starfield can compete", and even that isn't likely to move the needle when its competition is Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy. --- There's only one way to end this! *Bunka! It's been a consistent problem for the company since the 360 era. Like you'll have Nintendo or Sony with a pipeline that lets them put out at least one or two big AAA releases per year, but Microsoft just... doesn't have that.
