You're walking along with your best friend one day, talking about what kind of pizza is the best. You're in the middle of no where, there is no one else and nothing else of note around.

When suddenly your friend notices something in the bushes. Your friend pulls it out and you both realize it's a dufflebag that was shoved into the bush, it got torn while it was pulled out and now you can see it is absolutely stuffed full of unmarked dollar bills.

Before you could spell your name your friend notices there are two more and pulls them out as well, then opens them. Another one full of dollars and a 3rd full of what appears to be solid gold, diamonds, jewels and garnet braclets.

Thoughts and ideas leave and enter your mind like smoke, so quickly that when you try to grasp one it slips through your fingertips.

"Look at all this!? It has to be a fortune. We really need to hand these over to the relevant authorites." your best friend says earnestly while knelt down and looking through the cash.

I do nothing because I'm already at my inventory limit and picking up anything else will make me over encumbered, since I'm playing on survival so even money has weight fml.

How do you come up with these? Or do you have like a source online you get them from?

My best friend certainly would not say anything of the sort. I'd be the one more likely to say some shit like that. I'd be most prone to convincing him to sit on it for awhile to see if any news of missing money/gold come up. If nothing for a couple days fuck it

I'm not touching that shit. The kind of people who mislay dufflebags full of money are the kind of people who want it back really, really badly and don't care what they have to do to get it back.

paper, rock, scissors for what we do (I cheat, of course).

when I win, we take the bags to a safe location, search through the bags to make sure there's no tracking device (we don't want an Anton Chigurh type of situation, of course).

then we enjoy our wealth, even if I need to stress the fact that he can not snitch under any condition... of course.

We each take a bag of money, we split the gold, leave the gems and shit. Dont use any of that money for at least a year. Just sit on it.

After that time passes, no extravagant purchases that dont make sense with what either of us do for a living. Like dont go buy a $100k car with cash when you work a job paying $50k a year or whatever. Spend within reason as to not draw unwanted attention.

All that said, my buddy wouldnt follow any of those rules. He in fact would likely contemplate killing me to keep all of it lol
