Didn't set or break any platform expectations
Not the most aesthetically attractive game on the N64
Middle of the road performance w/frame drops
Not a lengthy platformer (practically 2 hours to beat in a single run)

but it was pretty enjoyable, runs like a dream on the Virtual Console and had one of the best high quality music scores on the N64

I always loved to play around with it, but it was pretty hard for young me to figure out where to go and what to do. Didn't help that I was mostly playing on somebody else's half finished save file because I bought it used from Blockbuster.

Yeah, the first thing I think of when I think of this game is the music, actually.

Is there a modern one worth a damn? I bought a few in the last 10 years or so but they were all bad.

I remember it fondly. The vehicle style transformations sparked my imagination as a little kid.

My buddy had that back in the day, it was a lot of fun.

I wish I didn't sell my Wii before they put it on the VC

I hope it comes to Switch online. That will get me to purchase it

I've never really been a fan of the Bomberman franchise, and legitimately had never heard of Bomberman Hero before this topic. When I saw it, I thought you had made an egregious typo when trying to talk about Bomberman Act Zero, and was like wuuuuuuut. Nobody liked that game.

Yeah that was a fun game. Pretty good music too
