I overheard someone that showed up to work talking about how he got pulled over for speeding on the way to work. He said the cops were hiding in pitch darkness with no lights on. I know this is a thing because Ive seen them do this several times. It feels like some bullshit that they are allowed to do that but at the same time just dont speed. What are your thoughts? Agent_Stroud 11/28/22 10:00:27 PM #35:	I use my high beams whenever I pass by where the local law enforcement like to camp out and watch for speeders since if they dare to say anything about it, I can simply tell them I was afraid of hitting a deer in the dark since the area in question is known for having quite a few deer roaming around it at all times. FYI, the newest kind of speed trap is apparently posting cameras at school zones that are set to record speeders license plates no matter the time of day, as Ive heard from a friend who is familiar with these systems that theyre set to record you going fifteen miles above the posted speed limit even if the lights arent flashing and school has long since ended for the day.
