Now it's the one where Santa's Little Helper replaces Duffman as the mascot for Duff beer, but his original owner from the dog track comes back to reclaim his ownership and exploit him, so the family tries to find and reinstate Duffman to get him back.

Now it's the one where Homer has his driver's license taken away, but while he learns to love walking everywhere, Marge becomes stressed to her limit from being the family's only driver.

Now it's the one where Bart is sentenced to around-the-clock parental supervision after breaking into Flanders' house and making a mess, and joins the Native American-themed boy scout troupe "Pre-teen Braves".

This one is mostly ironic for Apu calling out the "Pre-Teen Braves" for cultural appropriation.

Other than that, it's another mostly boring episode from this era

Now it's the one where Moe inadvertently saves Maggie's life while attempting to end his own, then becomes overly attached to her. After Homer and Marge forbid him from seeing her again, he turns out to be the only one capable of finding her when she goes missing.

Now it's Treehouse of Horror XIV, with Homer taking over the duties of the Grim Reaper, Professor Frink reanimating his dead father, and Bart and Milhouse getting their hands on a pocket watch that can stop time.

Wow, I don't remember any of these at all

Now it's the one where Homer learns where his mother is from clues she planted in the newspaper, and gets her acquitted of her activist crimes from the 60's. But when she gets sent to prison for forgery instead, he makes it his mission to help her escape.

Now it's the one where Lisa runs against Nelson for student body president after Martin is forced to resign, but goes rogue after she wins when she find out the school is going to cut the music, gym, and art programs.

You're in territory where I just don't remember these episodes -- I stopped watching at some point in the early 00's.

Now it's the one where Bart raises $3,000 by charging admission for people to see a $1,000 bill he came across and takes the family on vacation to England. While Grandpa tries to track down an old flame, Homer finds himself imprisoned in the Tower of London after ramming his rental car into a carriage carrying the queen.

Now it's the one where Homer is attacked by a bear at the dump while getting rid of an 85lb ball of cotton candy and caramel, and is labeled a coward when his fearful crying is captured by the media. He makes an anti-bear suit to seek revenge on the bear, but ends up making friends with it.

Now it's the one where Krusty finds out that because he never had a Bar Mitzvah, he technically isn't Jewish, and can't have a star on the Jewish Walk of Fame. In an effort to better adhere to tradition, Krusty stops filming his Saturday shows, and gives the time slot to Homer for a talk show.

Pretty much everything from S15 onwards is a blank

Then again, I have the episode guidebooks and they only go up to S14... (that I know of, they probably made more but what's the point)

I think I owned up to season 15 on boxset. I had originally planned to purchase every seasons boxset when I first started buying them but eventually stopped for reasons unrelated to their quality and just never started purchasing them again.

Now it's the one where Homer spends the family's Christmas tree money on a gift for himself, and after being sent to sleep on the couch and watching a version of "The Christmas Carol", resolves to be a good and unselfish person. When his good deeds begin to outshine Flanders', it starts a generosity arms race.

I do remember this one.

Now it's the one where the childless population of Springfield revolt against children after being forced to pay extra taxes to pay for the damages caused by a baby riot at a children's music concert, while Marge starts her own group to fight against theirs.

Now it's the one where Homer tries to build a robot for Bart so they can enter father-son robot deathmatches, but fails and decides to pretend to be a robot and enter the battles himself instead while keeping it a secret from Bart. Meanwhile, Lisa goes through a series of new cats after Dr. Hibbert runs over Snowball II.

Now it's the one where Homer is fired from the plant and buys an old ambulance to become a freelance EMT. Meanwhile, Marge writes a romance novel that becomes a big hit in Springfield, but is very hard on its oafish Homer-type character in favor of a dashing Flanders-type character.

Now it's the one where Marge tells the kids three historical tales, with Henry VIII (Homer) trying to find a wife that can bear him a son, Lewis and Clark (Lenny and Carl) exploring the western territories with Sacagawea (Lisa), and Mozart (Bart) being a musical child prodigy in 18th century Austria.

Now it's the one where Bart has to adjust to a world without his best friend when Milhouse and his mom move to Capitol City, and starts to bond with Lisa. Meanwhile, Homer takes up begging on the street as a second source of income to buy Marge an expensive anniversary gift.

Now it's the one where Lisa begins to feel threatened when Maggie starts showing signs of being even smarter than she is. After trying out multiple other personas instead of being "the smart one", and trying to sabotage Maggie's learning, Lisa decides to run away.

Now it's the one where the family finds Marge's high school prom date Artie Ziff has been living in their attic since his dot-com company went under. Marge then finds out that the SEC is after Artie because he cheated his stockholders, but it might be Homer that goes to prison when he becomes the majority shareholder from a poker game.

Now it's the one where Homer and Marge discover that they have a lot more fun when they're both getting drunk, instead of it just being Homer. But after they both get wasted at Oktoberfest and Homer crashes the car, he puts a semi-conscious Marge behind the wheel to take the fall, after which she goes to a rehab clinic.

Now it's the one where Bart gets caught trying to get free stuff by using a fake wedding registry and is sent to juvenile detention, and this get worse for him when Homer becomes a guard. When the boys and girls are brought (and handcuffed) together for a dance, Bart and his partner Gina see their chance to escape.

Now it's the one where Ms. Krabappel and Skinner finally set wedding plans in motion, but on the big day, both of them have second thoughts. Homer and Marge try to get them back together, but the state of their own marriage gets in the way.

Now it's the one where Bart and Lisa's fighting forces their parents to leave them at home instead of taking them on a trip to Ohio. Homer and Marge decide to go to Miami instead for themselves at the last minute, and when the kids see the Ohio hotel they were supposed to be staying at destroyed by a tornado on TV, they discover where their parents really went and chase them across the eastern US.

Now it's the one where Homer becomes "Pie Man", a masked vigilante hero who hits people who mistreat others in the face with pies. But when Mr. Burns finds out his identity, Homer is forced to be Burns' personal pie hitman.

This episode has one of my favorite lines in the whole series. There's a commercial at the beginning advertising a Wonka-like tour of a pork processing plant, and the spokesman says "If you like bacon, yer gonna love it! And if ya don't like bacon, well then t'hell wit'cha!"

Now it's the one where Homer and Marge discover that they actually met years before high school, when they were at boys and girls-only camps separated by a lake, and neither of them new the others' real name.

Now it's the one where a series of events cause Bart to inadvertently moon the American flag, leading the family to become very unpopular. After a talk show host twists Marge's words to claim that all of Springfield hates America, Mayor Quimby renames the town "Liberty-ville", and the Simpsons are arrested and taken to a re-education center.

Now it's the one where Mr. Burns decides to improve his image by the nefarious means of buying every media outlet in town and controlling what they say. The only newspaper that escapes this is the one Lisa just happened to start the day before, which puts a target on her back.

Now it's Treehouse of Horror XV, with Ned gaining the ability to see how people will die, Lisa being a parody of Sherlock Holmes and hunting a parody of Jack the Ripper, and the family being shrunk down to microscopic size to rescue Maggie from inside Mr. Burns.

Now it's the one where Marge has the kitchen renovated, and when the first thing she makes in it gets rave reviews, she enters the Ovenfresh Bakeoff competition. Meanwhile Bart learns the ways of the swinging bachelor lifestyle from the articles in discarded Playdude magazines (that Marge cut all the nude photos out of).

Now it's the one where Marge begins to feel that her kids don't appreciate her anymore, and then finds an outlet for her motherly tendencies in Nelson. Meanwhile, Lisa struggles with body image issues after the other girls at school point out her big butt.

This could never happen in real life- oh, wait...

Now it's the one where Marge's old friend from her high school journalism class returns to Springfield as a successful and famous reporter, and Marge becomes jealous when Lisa starts idolizing her.

Now it's the one where Bart suffers a "mid-life crisis" after losing his last baby tooth, and starts expressing himself through custom t-shirts with somewhat nihilistic slogans, which attract the attention of a gag-gift entrepreneur and start making Bart tons of money. Homer begins losing his self-respect now that he's no longer the family breadwinner, and starts focusing on his relationship with Lisa by helping her with her model of a power plant... by somehow turning it into a functional nuclear reactor.

Martin created a safe working miniature nextgen nuclear power plant.
Homer built a homemade nuke that could have exploded any time.
