I'd imagine if someone really wanted to do harm to Elon, they would manage to find this information themselves easily.

Also as much as the man flips on everything, I find it hard to believe him regardless.

But at the same time I'm really not buying this "It's possible to find the information so sharing and broadcasting it doesn't make millions of people know who otherwise wouldn't."

Reminds me of the JK Rowling thing were protesters were spreading her address to get people to harras her and defended it buy going "It's possible to look up her address"

I think we need to be mature enough to discuss whether or not it's okay to megaphone personal information about someone that might put them at risk. Not being intellectually dishonest and pretending it doesn't a difference.

IT defo makes a difference, the issue is if you think it's okay or not.

Hell why do you think advertising is an entire industry?

When was the last time you went to McDonalds.com and looked up information about them for no reason? You didn't. You know about them because they told you they exist.

A flight plan is not the same thing as a home address or phone number.

It's pretty creepy to have your movements tracked like that.
