gay black kid who had to "toughen" up because almost everyone around him either isolated him or targeted him for abuse because of his sexuality, and the only people who cared for him without abandoning him were a drug dealer and the drug dealer's girlfriend.

.....Christmas with the Kranks.... its a movie that made me so sad I wasted 12 bucks to see it in theaters. Like Christ... how can you have Tim Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis and Dan Aykroyd and it still turns out to be garbage.... I don't know....

but real talk, one of my favorite tear jerkers the past couple years has been the two dog movies A Dogs Purpose/A Dogs Journey. Just real tear jerking stuff for a canine lover like me.

Oh fuck yes.
It was so depressing. These two movies and also Hachiko I didn't see by choice and I never would. They were playing in my hotel and bus. They describe the feeling of SAD best than anything else I think

I have cried over a lot of movies. This is hard to answer and I don't really know. But the hardest I remember crying for a movie was Armageddon. That one really got to me

I think I remember sitting in the theater a little while after itvended to try to get the look of crying off my face before I went out to the lobby. I was a teenager then. Luckily I was by myself and in the back row with nobody near me

I think at this point it is considered a film of great cultural significance so they let it stay uploaded.

Grave of the Fireflies is a good one. They actually just recently stopped selling those fruit drop candies here in Japan.

I think Castaway is really sad. Dude survives on an island dreaming of meeting his fiance again, only to come back and realize everything is different. He realizes she is married. She still wants him, but he knows it is too late. He gives up and moves on.

AI is incredibly sad. The ending just wont stop and it keeps getting worse and worse. Then finally, finally, something good happens, and it is in the most bittersweet, heart wrenching way.

Cast Away is pretty sad (Wilson scene + the ending at the crossroads)

In recent years it might be The Father with Anthony Hopkins. Last 10 minutes were painful

When The Wind Blows from 1986. Animated nuclear war film

Hard to choose. Lots of sad ones :(
