I like Twitter because I can talk to people...when this place shows down. But the stuff on there hurts my well being. And this is one of less toxic things. But it just irks me that they make up these things in there head and are egged on. Like flat Earthers.

I believe the logic is, since they haven't died, they're right about the covid vaccine being a scam. Which is dumb logic, but they've been doubling down for 2+ years

I just kind of didn't make any comment and changed the subject before doing something else. He's otherwise not an awful person, and I'm not like most people here who are hyper aggressive to people that don't see things the way I do, but I didn't even want to humor what kind of an idiotic point he thought he was making.

I miss when we used to have stupid and sometimes brutal stories posted here about outspoken antivaxxers getting Covid and their reactions to it.

Sometimes I still wonder what happened to that guy who was paralyzed by it, with the religious wife and daughter who were just jumping for joy because it was god's idea for him to be in that state and they were happy to keep him that way or something.

no, the original quote was someone on the pro vaccine side. then the antivax idiots took it as "we were wrong about covid, let's pretend it never happened". iirc it was about the transmission rate is not as high as it was presumed, but stil high enough to be cautious.
