IE: Do you commit to one game at a time or do you flippy flop?

I mean I'm always playing FFXIV, but I'm not always going hardcore into it. I play other games too like Pokemon, or Minecraft or Overwatch, and lately I got Crisis Core and I've been playing that.

More or less monogamous. Only one game with a storyline at a time.

But there have been a couple times where I juggled 2-3 games, and I found it really refreshing.

For games without an explicit story/ending (like Minecraft), I'll usually play until I get bored and then move on to the next game.

I don't really jump back and forth between games. Which is easier because I don't really play MMOs or multiplayer games in general, so I don't really feel the need to juggle games or switch games to play with different friends.

I generally stick with 2 or 3 story based games at a time, but I can jump into just about any game without a story focus no matter what I'm playing.

One "real" game at a time, but can play other games like idlers too.

I'm completely one game at a time. I run til platinum (or until it's updated with better options).

Usually one game per platform. Sometimes I'll have one game ongoing on PC and another on Switch, but for the most part I'll stick to one at a time. I used to bounce around a lot more, but I've settled down in recent years, probably mostly because my backlog is pretty daunting and I don't feel like I can make any progress on it unless I commit to finishing each game.

Wouldnt that be closer to open, then? I would think If we equate gaming to dating terms, I guess it would be:

Monogamy - One games at a time
Open - One game with an story at the time, but still play others
Polyamory - Playing multiple games with a story at a time (and can also play others games without a story

Hmm...I suppose so if we're being technical out it. One serious relationship, but one-night stands are allowed if there are no strings attached. :)

Depends on my mood. Sometimes I like to sit down and focus on one game, sometimes I like to have 3 or 4 going at the same time and switch when I get bored.

Yes generally. Although I've been playing persona for months and I got the new pokemon so I've been splitting my time. But that's not usual for me. I don't have enough gaming time in a day to do multiple games

No, but I'm not always playing multiple games at a time.

No. I bounce around a bit. Like lately if Im awake on my own I play Horizon Zero Dawn. Or if Moon is awake I play Rainbow Six Seige and watch things with her.

Usually yes, but if I want to play something but only have a few minutes I'll boot up something like Rocket League.

One game at a time. I don't have a side hustle man.

I commit to 2 or 3 of various genres. Usually always have an RPG going on and play a visual novel and something else on the side. Typically a platformer or any number of under the radar retro games. Tetrisphere was fucking slept on, my dudes.

This is also just for games that have some sort of end goal. I play like 4 or 5 online style games that are either multiplayer or single player with lots of updates (think Monster Hunter).

I jump between games when I get really stuck. Or when I'm burnt out on a game.
