I enjoyed the first season.

For those of you who don't know, and there's some season 1 story spoilers for the first few episodes, the show is about a group of Jews in the 1970s who take it upon themselves to hunt down the Nazis that our government brought to America after World War II. This was real and was called Operation Paperclip. Al Pacino stars as the lead guy for the group and the one with the money to finance their operations. It's violent, although I wouldn't say as bad as "The Boys."

People either really loved or really hated the show. While it does take real life plot points like Jewish people finding and tracking down escaped Nazis, they didn't actually kill them. Some people thought it was doing a disservice to Jewish people and what they went through, others said they thought it was good and helped them heal.

Here's the Season 2 trailer, but be warned, it spoils the "reveal" from the end of Season 1. So don't watch the trailer if you don't want season 1 spoiled.

I'm having a hard time thinking of anything super over the top. I'm not saying there isn't a scene or two but there aren't any scenes like "The Sneeze" from The Boys in it.

And it has it's comedy moments for sure. It also has really serious moments. The tone is a little "all over the place."
