I loved the lord of the rings trilogy (well maybe not fellowship) and liked the harry potter movies. I watched hobbit 1 which wasnt bad but not great So what is worth watching out of hobbit 2/3, rings of power, fantastic beasts and the 2 sequels. The lack of any discussion and middling reviews kind of tells me not much but maybe someone can sell me on these. I do like the worlds of these franchises enough to look into these ... watch the hobbit cartoon, nothing else is actually any good for LOTR. the hobbit prequels movies are like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fksu6FENojY and rings of power just seemed like a total waste. like they just jammed things together because they wanted some scenes to be like the original trilogy but didn't actually make them make sense. don't know anything about harry potter --- The Earth is round. The first Hobbit film isnt awful but is much worse than any of the LotR films. The other two are absolutely awful. The first Fantastic Beasts is fine but doesnt really do anything incredible and the second was so bad that I didnt even bother seeing the third. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Just like lord of the rings, the Hobbit trilogy is a single 3 movie story. Either watch all 3, or watch none. It doesn't make sense to only watch part of them ... Copied to Clipboard!
