No I say have a good day and walk away with stolen goods I "marked" at the self-checkout :)

I don't shop at Walmart lots of crimes are committed there store compared to Target.

Most of the time they just briefly glance at it and that's about it. It's a minor inconvenience spanning several seconds, so I don't care.

The true policy is that they are only supposed to look at unbagged goods.

I rarely rarely shop at Walmart. If someone asks to see the receipt, I show it to them. They are probably making near minimum wage - no need to disrespect them like they dont exist.

Haven't set foot inside a Walmart in about five years now.

No, I don't mind experiencing a two second inconvenience so the minimum wage hourly employee can perform one of the duties of their job.

I haven't been to Wal-Mart in years, but the last time I went, the guy didn't care. I saw him standing by the exit, so I asked "do you need to see my receipt?" And he's like "nah, you're good"

I never understood why people get so upset by it.

If they ask, I usually just let them have a look because I try not to make peoples jobs harder. When they first started doing it, I got super embarrassed when they tried to look because I felt like everyone was thinking that I got caught stealing. By now, people understand whats going on, so nobody is judging me. In reality, I think they stop me because I look approachable and they dont want to get screamed at.

You can also usually avoid it if you pretend to be talking on the phone. This usually works with the people who hang out in front of the store to get you to sign stuff.

I don't care when I have to, it's kinda part of the deal of shopping at Walmart.

Either way, if I need to do a quick in-out electronics purchase these days I almost always go to Walmart. Their shit is absolutely fine for utilitarian purpose.
