Right wingers don't listen to the lyrics really besides the choruses and a few snippets. They know BOORRRRNNNN IN THE USA!', but not what the song means. They know "OOOOOOH THAT RED WHITE AND BLUE!", but not what Fortunate Son is about. They know FUCK YOU I WON'T DO WHAT YA TELL ME!", but listened to nothing else.

For anyone who is interested, Roger Waters narrates a really good documentary called Occupation of the American Mind: Israel's P.R. War in America.

It provides a glimpse into how American media covers Israel's occupation and wars against Palestine and why so many Americans are stupid as fuck to the reality of that situation.

And yeah, I'm starting to see now why people say Facebook in the 2020's (some might even say earlier) is basically boomer Twitter. It's like suddenly they all finally figured out how to create their own accounts (compared to early FB years when it was stereotypical for younger people to create accounts for their elder family members regardless if they knew how to do anything else on the site) and now they're just freely expressing their garbage draconian opinions because they haven't figured out what timeline they're in.

And what's more annoying is now that Meta is super sensitive on things you say, you can't tell these people that they're fucking idiots because your comment will get removed and you'll get put on a Facebook/Instagram timeout until you've learned your lesson. So you've just got this unbearable cesspit of passive-aggressive motherfuckers acting smug left and right. Those people need to be subjected to some good ol' mid-2000's internet message board flaming. They'd be shook out of their frames.
