The long and short was: the company I worked for starting in April, benefits started in July. I get injured in June, come back in august to find out they sent an email when our systems where shut down to move claiming they screwed up, benefits started in June and without any authority or approval from me started back charging me. I worked my way up to the Hr director who got into a circular argument with me: Her: what do you want? me: my money back and to not be charged, you did not have explicit permission to remove that money from my check. Her: thats not happening and repeat like 5 more times. So I stood up and went to walk out, she yelled if you walk out that door you quit! And I just kept going. Were constantly short staffed and if the work doesnt get done we can stay and claim overtime for it.
