Bruh the police chief is a black woman as is the distrtict attorney.

I saw one vid and it's probably the least horrible one of the four. The cops are holding him and yanking him around and taking turns slugging him in the face. I didn't have the volume on because I don't want to hear him yelling in pain. But no doubt they were saying he needed to stop resisting while he was being ragdolled and unable to even move on his own.

Im black and in the back of my mind, I always hope that black cops would treat us better because they would understand and try to be more diligent. I know this isnt true but I cant help but hope sometimes. The real world proves that wrong over and over again. Cops are cops no matter the race.

I can't speak for on the streets with cops but in prison I've seen it many times. Black inmates bitch way harder when a black officer gets onto them for something. In basic they tell us it's cause thru view black officers as traitors but part of me think it's they just expect it out of white officers.

I kinda feel bad for the black officers cause it definitely makes their jobs harder. They get stupid with it. We do a thing called standing count in the morning which means they gotta get out of bed and stand. I get bitches and gripes but they do it for me. Had a black officer try to exerts his will in doing it and first thing I heard is "why is it always one of us that gotta be the asshole" referring to him being black. I was confused cause I never had a problem with that inmate period let alone during standing count.

See here's the part I don't get.

Let's say I'm a cop.

I make a traffic stop because somebody's going 70 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone. I pull them over and I'm supposed to give him a citation for $200 and have him shop in court. That's pretty standard?

I just had the impression that systematic oppression was when people in positions of power abused their authority to oppress people of color not that the system itself was flawed (using the system to oppress).
