I was never interested in much of any form of extracurricular stuff during the entirety of my schooling.

Basketball in middle school, football in high school.

I just did PE and recreational sports and other physical ed classes offered. I like conventional team sports like football and basketball but I'm kind of on the smaller side compared to those athletes and not incredibly talented. I did consider trying out for wrestling, but at that time in my life, I wasn't committed to killing myself with restrictive diets and intense training for a sport that has a path to nowhere.

Nope, and I stopped taking gym after 4th grade.

I did some extra-curricular stuff up through middle school. Martial arts, bowling, tennis, and gymnastics.

Honestly I wish PE had actually been... Yknow... Educational. Teaching warm ups, stretches, exercises you can do at home. Basic shit

Lived in Ohio, and Rhode Island. I've got heart and lung issues, and gym became too much for me to handle, so I got a note from my cardiologist to get out of it.

Whenever we had PE and students were chosen to handpick their teams, I was always the last or one of the last students to be picked. I was always seen as a hindrance to my team. Kinda hard to get into sports when your own team doesn't want you there.

I probably could've gotten into something like track and field or cross country if I tried, but I wasn't confident enough in my physical fitness.

Not just that but incorporated into it.

Played football throughout high school and for two years in college.

I hated school so much I didn't do anything after it. Oh hells I didn't do much during it either.

Once that school bell went that was it for me. I didn't even do my homework.

I played soccer through 6th grade. After that I committed to music. I was in marching band in high school, but I didnt get PE credit for it. So I had to take 2 years of PE too (California).

I was incredibly athletic for a skinny nerd, but all the coaches were dickheads and the kids i would have been team mates with were hardly better.

I definitely enjoyed showing up all the star athletes in PE and then telling the coaches to kick rocks every time they tried to bully me into playing.

Forced participation - sure.

Nope. Always hated sports. And in 7th grade, some guys made fun of me for being bad at basketball (forced to play during PE), so that cemented my hatred of playing that.

Luckily, my gym teachers for 8th, 9th and 10th grade actually made the class about fitness and not just "here, go play a sport". So I got in shape and wasn't forced to play any more sports.

Primary and middle. Probably not high school. Don't remember if we did school vs school in HS either, seeing as I only did 1 year of public HS, had really stopped paying attention by then, and both times we went to the stadium, my 1 goal was sneaking out early.

No, my mom was all about grades so all I did was study.

My kids tried many different sports but the only thing that stuck is golf because they get to play with their dad, get to go in golf carts and it requires no running.

Yeah, a few. Played soccer in college for a little too (non-scholarship).

I played Baseball for years until I hit a 2nd pitcher. After the 2nd one I just couldn't hit well anymore when someone was pitching. I even had trouble in school when we played softball in our free time. I was just too concerned about accidentally hitting another pitcher.

I also played football. It was fun to a degree, but never gave me the feeling that baseball did.

I competed in various sports but not usually through the school. Normally at a county level.

Yeah I played on the high school ice hockey team. After school with friends usually 4-5 days a week we'd all play football, baseball, or street hockey, depending on who we had and how many.

Karate, Tennis and Mountain Biking

only did sports my junior year. did track & field during spring semester and cheerleading during autumn semester
