But to your mind they seem the same other than some certain trait like color. That is my point. To your mind as a human the difference between the gender you attracted to and aren't is like....kablam...wooahh zapp zap zap. Magic like.

Without that, to non human observer it would be more like....black widow female is bigger has subtle color diff etc.

I used to do figure drawing, one thing I liked about it is you really start to appreciate different bodies people have regardless of sex. There's something similarly aesthetically pleasing about a muscled masculine figure as a feminine rounded one.

First of all some dimorphic insects definitely look better than others.

Here's a sample of some male/female insects you can't honestly say that some aren't more visually impressive.

For other animals it's similar as well, most people would probably agree that a peacock is more beautiful than a peahen.

In the case of humans, however, beauty is often a matter of effort. Humans don't wake up out of a chrysalis with beautiful wings and shit. They have to work on improving their own attractiveness. It's got less to do with sex and more to do with who spent the most effort.

Yes, women tend to have much better feet.

While I like the male body more, Id say neither is automatically more attractive than the other

While its true that there are plenty of insects and animals that look different depending on if they are male or female, its not always known by the average human which is which. Most people can tell differences between stuff we see all the time like the difference between cows and bulls, or peacock and peahen And most could guess for certain insects. But we some animals, Id just be guessing With alien, it would probably also depend on their size, possibly And their understanding of the human body. Eventually, they should be able to tell after studying us, or looking, for a while

Also, while I do agree with the last part of improving on attractiveness, it also comes from whos looking, as well For example, someone who spends quite a bit of time in the gym may be attractive to some people (like people who like men/women with gym bodies), but unattractive to other people (who arent fans of the gym body)

I'm going on memory here, but in most species the males and females are either equal, or the males are more attractive as they have to attract the females.

Now as a straight man I love women's bodies far more than men -- but that's my bias.
