Pedro Pascal isn't quite nailing the closed off psycho Texan. He still comes off a little bit warmer than I feel Joel should. Game Joel constantly felt like he was on the edge of breaking because he's barely holding it together. Pascal even when he breaks isn't quite as unhinged. I think both portrayals have their merit though. I'm expecting touching moments to seem much more natural in the show. Bella Ramsey is fucking nailing it though. She's doing a great job of being a hard ass while still being an annoying kid. I like this portrayal better tbh. Game Ellie often acted a bit too adult. Show Ellie is definitely more childlike. --- I don't believe in belts. There should be no ranking system for toughness. ... Copied to Clipboard!
