Just in January this year there has been at least 8 explosions due to gang violence. Children aged 13-15 going around with automatic weapons killing other gang members for cash.

Children even younger than that are reqcruited into gang shit.

Our government has totally failed.

That sucks v_v

I never thought I'd hear the phrase "Don't fuck with the swedish, they're crazy man!" and it'll actually be true, the fuck happened over there?

And its not just affecting other criminals, several people have been victims to gang violence even if they have had nothing to do with it.

It costs tax money, police, health care (usually gn shot wounds etc), lawyers etc.

People overall feeling unsafe in different areas during different places.

I'm still double taking this, this is in Sweden? What?

Im not gonna say its only the fault of a group of people. But the fact is the most of the criminals arent ethnic Swedish backround, but the most are still born here that have escalated the violence.

Its complicated, its a combination of different factors I feel Im not that cabable to translate to English.

I do feel that out government for the past 30 years is responsible however and I feel its just gonna gwt worse.

Europe has a long-standing history of treating minorities like shit. There are a lot of disenfranchised people that get ignored while Europe goes "HAR HAR LOOK AT HOW SHIT AMERICA IS"

remember the backlash when people saw black pete and the dutch people were like "fuck yall its tradition" despite the growing number of immigrants and afro-dutch people saying it was offensive?

Imo, but its biased, I think our insane war on drugs (which prob gonna get even more insane) has something to do with it. That is is one factor.

Another is bunching up people with less social economic status usually immigrants etc in different areas and removing social services from there has an affect, people who are doing these crimes are saying they dont feel they are part of our society.

Our police force is waaay underpayed and low on resources, they have tried to fix this with h lowering the demands to become police but thst just gives us lower quality police.

That is just a really small sample of possible factors to why it is the way it is.

Take a lesson from America's massive fuckups. First prohibition and then in the 80s the war on drugs. All it did was generate huge amounts of wealth for criminals, which then because it brought so much money into areas that normally were impoverished, caused violence while people fought over who got a bigger slice of that pie.

Then because you've created all this violent crime now you need more law enforcement, more prisons, a more robust justice system.
It's just a big dumb circle that can be avoided if you get away prohibitionist bullshit.

Yeah but our politicians want to go forward with this shit, they started the war on drugs 30
years ago with no results, and no party despite which side wants to even investigate decriminilizing drug use.

We have I think the most severe drug laws in Europe, but also the highest drug related deaths, and this is just counting overdoses and accidents etc, not gang stuff.
