ive been waiting for this stupid game to go on sale but im giving up and just gonna buy it full price. this garbage better not be on sale this valentines day or something.

If there's another Switch game you think you want (or may want later, if it hasn't released yet), Nintendo's doing that Game Voucher thing again where you spend 100 bucks and can get 2 eligible games with the vouchers. Most of the eligible titles are $60, so you essentially save 20 bucks, 10 on each game.

Other than that, I can't imagine it'll go on sale, at least not for a while. Almost certainly not for Singles Awareness Day.

both games ARE eligible, so that's certainly an option.

All that said, if you've only got enough moolah at this moment for one game, I'd say Three Hopes is DEFINITELY worth full price. Though if you're hoping for a bunch of extra stuff like in Hyrule Warriors or the original FE Warriors, then maybe give it a pass. Like Persona 5 Strikers, this is a Warriors game that is really just a story mode and nothing else. It's a damn good story mode though, and it's great if you played Three Houses already and wanted to see more of Fodlan and its inhabitants.

yeah I was already used to the lack of free mode thanks to Persona 5 Strikers but it was still a bit disappointing. But for what it's worth, it's still a fantastic time. Between the different routes and optional battles (there ARE some fights you can skip, they're just not in a dedicated mode is all), there's still quite a bit to do in the game.
