Skip Ads was another alt of khlaviclanguage and as mentioned by Medussa, AceMos was suspended before all the drama happened due to an unrelated thing.

Nobody in here is pretending everyone should "just know." But Dreepapult obviously did, there was zero room for doubt given the subject matter of this topic and his other posts. But you know that. Why are you acting as if that moderation was even arguably unfair?

We don't.

When it's someone who has a history of doing it intentionally, it becomes less unfair.

History is indeed a factor in things, just as with gunpla herself.

I'm not. Others were saying that no one was talking about anyone doing that in this topic but people were talking about it

Kind of weird choice. I dont know anyones gender unless they specifically have told me before. I dont check sigs. I havent even changed mine in years, it doesnt even work

I have signatures turned off.

since its an option GameFAQs allows you to use, you shouldnt be penalised for not seeing whatever is in a persons signatures

No one was penalized for this. We have stated it repeatedly. It was brought up as one example of evidence levied against the individual in question among many other evidence.

The individual in question ignored her sig (fair enough on it's own), ignored people correcting him, dodged the questions raised against his behavior, didn't defend himself from the accusations, and most importantly.. kept doing it.

Really not sure that counts as misgendering when it's a gender-neutral pronoun.

If you want to criticise people like that for their behaviour, call them out for what it really is - being a prick.

My point was that they're not actually misgendering, they're just being jerks and know exactly what they're doing. You're being kited into using the wrong criticism.

The whole dispute is being mired down in a side argument about intent that's giving enough slack for people like Dreep to avoid hanging themselves.

Or, you know, ignore them. It's not like we'd be missing anything of value.

Just refer to users as their user name or user number. Too many pronouns piss off Vinny Jr

If youre not sure, just use the universal they/them that applies to everyone.

Exactly. I've accidentally misgendered people before here. When I've been corrected, I've acknowledged it, either after the fact or by editing posts if applicable, and I just use the right ones from then on. I've never been modded for it. I've never had anyone mad about and rejecting that the mistake was honest, because I never gave anyone a reason to. In some cases I've even noticed that I might not be using the right pronouns and I will just ask up front. I've always gotten a straight answer without any issues and I've acknowledged it and honored the people in question in the future. It's so much easier than... certain people... make it out to be.
