The hate bandwagon surrounding them is way overblown. There are songs that certainly wore out their welcome when they were in heavy rotation on the radio but the raging hate boners over their music never made sense to me. But I feel that way about music in general. There's things I like and things I dislike, but there's not much that I would bristle and moan about. I'd never call myself a Justin Bieber fan but his songs are catchy and don't irritate me. It's not like Bieber writes grating noise art or something like Maldoror from Patton/Akita. That shit is as close to unlistenable as anything I've heard, and I love Mike Patton --- What's better than roses on your piano?
