I remember when consoles came with 2 controllers and a game and since I was a big Nintendo fan growing up, I always looked forward to the new console and Mario pack in game.

I mean, they still do if you get the special consoles. Its just not then born for all of the to have them, anymore I also remember when PlayStation use to give out demo discs with the consoles Funny thing is those demo disc were pretty good. I remember people playing just that demo disc for like over a year sometimes without buying other games Maybe thats why they stopped Selling the system with a game could be a bad move for all of them. Which is probably why they only really do it sometimes these days Maybe

I think they should so you have at least one game to play on the new system.

I never buy a console unless it comes with a pack-in game.

Even if just some digital codes for launch titles or some of those games that show off cool new features in fun ways, yes.

PS5 comes with Astro's Playroom which is surprisingly fun.

Only if it's a literal pack-in game. A lot of bundles these days just come with digital codes to download a game, and I'd rather have the physical copy.

I agree I got the special DS with A Link Between Worlds And I was deeply saddened that it came with a digital code

But yeah, if not digital access, then definitely pack that console up with Sonic 2 or something.

There aren't all that many games that are likely to (or even designed to) appeal to a broad general audience anymore, however, especially for Playstation. Nintendo could still do it and throw in a Mario game, but PS (especially at launch)...I dunno.

I think it makes more sense for them to give people three free months on their service or something (as much as I hate the service model).
