I am thinking of adding a fan. However it seems like the pros want over 200 dollars. I cam thinking about doing it myself. But I never done anything with wires. --- To be a poor man is hard, but to be a poor race in a land of dollars is the very bottom of hardships. W.E.B. Du Bois ... Copied to Clipboard!

Pretty quick if there's a light with a junction box already there that you're simply replacing with a fan. Not so quick if you've got to set up the electrical pieces from scratch. --- Buffalo Bills ... Copied to Clipboard!

The previous poster mentioned the junction box. Be sure it is a metal junction box, supported to the joist and not just cut into the sheetrock (or whatever type material your ceiling is) The rest is following instructions or yt video. Good luck ... Copied to Clipboard!
