Which is, of course, the stupid fucking rain. Like this shit is just ridiculous. Them not giving you something like the Hookshot or climbing gear just makes it worse. Who the fuck even wants to live in a kingdom where it rains every 3rd or 4th day anyway?

Either way, I think I know why Gannon is such an ass, he's just got a serious case of the May Melancholys from all this obnoxious garbage pouring from the sky every single other fucking day.

Yeah, durability can be ignored entirely , rain can be ignored if you have ravali juice, otherwise tough luck.

It sucks that you can climb a whole mountain if it's dry, but you can barely advance 3 meters if it's raining

You can still climb a mountain when its raining, you just need really good timing with the X leap before the slip.

Stuff like this doesn't even make sense to me. Maybe it's because I'm trying to blow through the game in around a month or so instead of play it normally, but damn this shit is horrible. They had so many better options than just deal with it or go sleep somewhere.

Honestly needing to make a fire or warp somewhere is pretty annoying too. I hope in tears of the kingdom it either hardly rains, or you at least get a makeshift tent or campfire item. It'd be so nice to just sleep anywhere without blowing through wood and fire arrows

People always say this, but I still think it takes way more stamina than regular climbing. Like a small wall, sure, a whole ass mountain, it's still not going to work. And I'm not downing 6 stamina meals just because it's raining.

It absolutely takes more stamina but Ive done it plenty of times. Stamina refreshing meals are so easy whether you need half a refill or you want 3 extra stamina bars, you can make any climb. Like 3 fireflies and a monster part potion are pretty easy to come by. And something I underestimated is movement speed foods to.

According to the leaked art book there might be a costume with suction cups that might help with that..

I liked it most of the time. Forced me to try a different route

But yes there's a trick to still climb, though it still isn't great for getting up really high

Also you can hit a flint on a wood bundle and make a fire

This just shows the triviality of the whole experience. You're in some bind or minor inconvenience? Just stuff your face with w/e is available in your inventory to replenish X or Y. All it ended up doing is slowing the pacing down even more by having to go into the damn inventory to replenish health or stamina..

I hope I'm wrong but I don't see them shifting gears (significantly) in TotK to fix the major "issues" from BoTW. I'm only looking forward to TotK to see if they do change things up.

Rain is the issue ? Just went back playing it again. Ill take the rain, breaking weapons, two hit kills by lynel richi. And more. If they improve the combat better.

instead of weapons just tapping. I want it to hit. Like the older games. This just feels like combat was tacked on last second
