So I finally saw Megadeth live in 2017 and while the band sounded fine, Dave absolutely sounded old and haggard. When he got diagnosed with throat cancer a few years later I thought hed sounded like he had it for 20 years. That said, his vocals are absolutely appropriate for some of the greatest albums of all time in Peace Sells and Rust in Peace and I wouldnt want to hear them with an actual good vocalist.
