Started the day at 42. Spent all morning bouncing between 40 and 43. Then all of a sudden just gone on a crazy run to get from 41 to 47 in like under an hour.

Guess I will have to try push for 50 now

Sentry seem fine honestly? He's a buffed up Hood. With Carnage he can effectively be a 4/10, with Viper a 4/16. I never played destruction or "bad cards" style decks though.

Like I want to try Goblin on 3, Shuri on 4, Hobgoblin on 5, Sentry + Viper on 6.

Just wait until Sentry becomes super common and everyone starts filling their right lanes including an Armor before Turn 4

Sentry this season has the 6th worst win percentage of all cards

But hey we all have our pet bad cards we are trying to save right? Me with my Hawkeye/Adam Warlock combo

I dont know how useful win percentage is, really. Shocker is in the top 20, lol.

oh duh, everyone's playing patriot/mystique because they're trying to climb ranks last minute

I stupidly played Bast into The Raft, only realizing after I hit End Turn what I had done.

But then I drew Giganto, and The Raft was in the left lane, so... no harm done?

I've accidentally played a discard as the 4th card in the Raft and discarded my free card an embarrassing amount of times.

Just won a game because the opponent played an Ironman onto an empty location turn 6 after snapping. I played hobgoblin that location that turn making it a -16. Had he played no card at all he would have won as we had a tied location so points difference at locations mattered.

Oh wow, I just matched up against the same played in back to back matches.

How does it work on season reset? You lose X amount of ranks? Or does everyone drop back to 10?

You lose 30 ranks from whatever the closest level.

So if you're 50-59 you'll drop down to 20 next season. It's also your current rank, not the highest rank. So if you drop down to 49 you'll go to 10 at the start of next season.

Beginning of 3 ranks back regardless of highest obtained. So for example, you will drop back to 20 so long as you remain between 50 and 59, but even though you cracked 50 if you drop back to 49 you will reset to 10.

They really should add rank floors so you can experiment with decks

The 35+ rank drop each season is still so terrible. At least make it a straight 30 drop.

I think they've said they don't want people to be snapping with no risk if you're a rank floor.

But they said they're making some changes to ranked next month so maybe they changed their mind. Or maybe you can't snap if you're at a rank floor or something.

Put all rank floor people in a special queue where you have to Battle Mode another rank floor person and the one who wins gets +1 rank. It's the only way to escape the rank floor.

This is generally true but I think 20 is the floor? Like once youve cracked 20 you will always reset to 20 (unless you get past 60 obviously)

I started at 10 this season when I started playing again like 10 days ago or something. Last time I played was November though so may have reset further due to inactivity. I was 60+ back in November

Lady Deathstrike 6/4 and destroys the enemy with the highest power at location shes played. Im now imagining someone being able to play her and Shang-Chi the same turn, but she looks like a strong 1-lane anti-Cerebro at least

it's 10 (source: I got reset to 10 this season from 40s)

Last season I got to 50 and then dropped down into the 40's and started at 10.

I only got to the 30's because the grind is so strong for my style of play (I'm always trying new decks), starting back at 10 sucksssss.

Do missions roll over to the new season too? My daily missions this morning are both win with a snap and I'm rank 50 7/10 so that's asking to finish under 50 for the season.

Man I love having fun with a new deck and then only running into counters against it. Fucking waves of Armor/Mystique lanes and Cosmo means auto retreat for Destroy

Hit 60 playing a patriot deck all for the pixel variant of spectrum....

I cant even hit 50. I think the 60 tier Variant will be a pipe dream for me until I get more of the better cards.

Yea I feel dirty doing it the way I did, and I think I got kind of lucky in some of my 8 cube wins, but I mostly just wanted to try and hit to to see if I could.

Also Im so close to being petty as fuck and spamming Ms Marvel & I Dont Believe You while waiting out 99% of the timer before retreating against the next Armor/Cosmo and/or Mystique deck I run into :(

They should. I dont know that for a fact but they logically should. They do for weekly challenge

Take a step back and look at your relationship with this game if you're feeling that

In other words, if you want try hard toxic competitiveness, play CS or LoL or something, not the 3-minute card game optimized for on-toilet gameplay, where even the most solid strategy has 25%+ variance

Im not even trying to be competitive, but its frustrating Im only in the 40s and have been unable to even PLAY a full match with a Destroy deck in the last hour. Every single deck Im facing is stopping me from doing anything lol

I dunno what you would call it, but that's what I mean by stepping back and taking a look. You're self-imposing a frustrating challenge (using an empirically shitty Destroy deck) and want to take it out on your opponents who did absolutely nothing, instead of just using a better deck.

I cant run most decks optimally because I lack a lot of the best stuff still. Before I was playing Destroy the game was putting me against Thanos Lockjaw every other match at my tier for some asinine reason

I really wish there was a way to earn boosters without having to give up cubes to do so. I'm not throwing Drax in my deck because it's a good card, im throwing him in there because I want to level him up at least once so I can grab a collectors reserve, it shouldn't cost me 16 cubes for 6 boosters.

Thats what the shitty Fast Upgrade shop is for!

Anyways looking around for new decks I can try, but I always seem to be missing the 1-2 cards that the deck relies on. Anybody got any suggestions? Ive got all of pool 1-2 and for Pool 3-4 Ive got these:

0 - Yellowjacket
1 - Deadpool, Human Torch, Zero
2 - Adam Warlock, Beast, Colleen, Daredevil, Goose, Mojo, Mysterio
3 - Electro, Lockjaw, Moon Knight, Polaris, Rogue, Venom
4 - Crystal, Drax, Ghost Rider, Hell Cow, Miles, Mr. Negative, Omega Red, Sentry, Shuri, Spider-Man, Typhoid Mary
5 - Black Bolt, Captain Marvel, Ronan, Taskmaster
6 - Agatha, Arnim, Death, Destroyer, Leader, Magneto, She-Hulk

Shuri, She-Hulk, Taskmaster, Arnim is probably something you could build around.

If you have Destroyer you already have the tools for a good Destroyer deck since most of the rest of the tools are pool 1 and 2

Those are two ideas to try, but for the first how would that work? Shuri costs 4 to play so Im not sure how Id get to play She-Hulk, Taskmaster and Arnim after.

Currently trying to find out who all is in a Destroyer deck.

Electro or Psylocke on 3 for 5 on turn 4, 20 power she-hulk turn 5, arnim/taskmaster on turn 6. Make sure to have Sunspot in the deck to eat up extra energy.

you play shuri then skip 5 and play shehulk/taskmaster on 6

arnim is if you dont get shehulk and taskmaster in time, but you'd have to play something on 5 after shuri obviously. Captain Marvel or Typhoid Mary or something

Haha Im cursed. My first match I got Icemans on Electro, but its ok because theres the 5 energy location only so I can play him & Shuri and same turn my opponent to played Leech and hit all the cards in my hand needed for my end game win condition :(

Not even mad about that. It was actually funny because what are the odds it would get crushed the first time I try it before I can even make any of the plays.

Happens to me all the time lol. I'll build a deck just to try it and the first person I play plays everything they need to counter me.

Second match with it went better! Also the Destroyer deck (I probably could replace some stuff in it) is pretty fun too.
