Yeah, I periodically upgrade my guys' items when I get a new one. Buying stuff from the Guild Shop helps with getting good gear too. There's no reason to sit on what you have because normally the next upgrade level will have better stats entirely, or at least will be even after leveling it up once.

Concerning Maga Ken, he'll be around. I believe you can get him through Divination still, and this event will pop up again at some point. But yeah, he's useless for you now. I only have him at A+.

You might want to save your diamonds for Divination which I believe unlocks at 15-40. I'm starting to lean towards doing more Divination than pulls with my diamonds because I can't ever seem to pull what I need.

15-40 is the one with Cody, right? The key to that one is to tank the combo where he pulls someone without full meter (his passive) since that combo has a big damage reduction to it. Then you stun the next one at the start.

I just beat 20-40 which was annoying. That one has Juri and I found out that her first combo is a buff that can't be broken, so I had to stun the second portion of the combo. But after Juri gets the buff, she opens with an AOE combo at the start, so I had to remember to stun her at the open of the combo. Eventually I got it.

Not much has changed on my end in terms of my team though. I'm not getting dupes of my core squad so I'm stuck not being able to upgrade anyone but Beast Gief right now.

Also important advice: if you're having trouble on a hard fight, just walk away for a while. Sometimes I'll try like 20 times in a row and then not try it again until 6 hours later and I'll get it in one go. It really helps to be able to step away and focus on other stuff for a while.

the elemental towers have unlocked

as you guys know I just ultra concentrate on very few characters as I am a minimalist

but yea, this is interesting because I simply don't have enough good characters to fill out these teams

Eh, you just need 4 characters ranked for Limit Break for each. If you have them A+ they should be able to make it through each of them, especially if someone can carry for each one, and then quick slot whatever items you can on them. They start out super easy. I'm still at the point at like 50 or so where I can still auto them with plenty of A+.

I never thought this would happen but Guile is now my main DPS. I was pissed off when I first got him and he was pretty disappointing despite people putting him high on tier lists

I STILL Don't see what makes him supposedly so great but hes just my lead guy now by proxy of him being able to gain more levels and get more bonuses since hes SS+

also I unlocked Divination

whats this about? Is it better than drawing with Coins?

better for drawing the legendary units ( m bison, rose, juri, etc), worse for drawing anything else basically.

the very first use will draw your chosen unit guaranteed though

after that i probably wouldn't touch it until you have all your other units heavily heavily upgraded

I've had better luck using Divination to get my units than I have with doing standard draws. Wish list doesn't help, and it's frustrating when I even get enough tokens for a type pull and I still don't get any of the 3 wind characters I use. It also helps that I need more units to upgrade my other characters, so I have been going with Divination.

Holy hell, I did an x10 Divination and got two Chun-Li's. Got my whole squad at SSS now.

But I'm still begging for more Break Stones. Jesus, those things are so hard to come by. I only just now got to upgrade Mad Ryu with them and I'm back down to none again and need 30k.

I like Divination a lot for the other goodies you get.

I dunno, it feels self explanatory to me! Just fight the boss, trade in shards to boost your guild stats, then spend the tickets on stuff.

also I finally beat the last Global operation mission

I had to use some Mercs but they had SSS+ 220 Bisons and shit, so yea, you can't fault me

you know, I like the PVE stuff

I like Shadaloo city, Global Operations, etc

The boost mechanic is very fun and very satisfying once you got some good ones going, I wish there was more of this. Now I have to wait every other day for it.

Its a shame they didn't build the whole game around this but I guess I see why, its easier to have the main game be a dotted map line than having to create like 50 whole ass dungeons

I hate how you can only do 10 levels a day for those Elemental Towers

so I mentioned I can't do the Beast Zangief trick because hes A+ and he starts dying from Regular attacks before I can even stun them once

I found a way around it

....put A+ ehonda infront of him

I took out Evil Ryu and made him Assist Guile
I put Elena on tag and Guile is Back row
I start with Guile, then Heal, then Stun tornado. When Tornado stuns, I finish it off with Guile's Flashkick.

Easier said than done, still takes me a long time to do this successfully since I have to do it like 4 times in a row to win, ESPECIALLY 16-40

I managed to get to World 17. but yea, I REALLY am stuck now, this stuff doesn't work Hahahaha

Yeah, Beast Gief actually isn't a tank class, so he can't be your solo tank here. That's why I have Abel to make him more beefy.

Honda is very good though. If you're finding yourself needing more survivability, consider starting combos with Honda. If I remember right, he has a good defense buff from that.

You can always try to replace Elena with Mad Ryu and see if you can burst through with damage rather than healing. With Beast Gief, Honda, and Elena, you probably aren't putting out a ton of damage.

I need Elena there because my team just doesn't do much damage anymore, it HAS to be a battle of attrition, ya know? Its a matter of wearing them down

Thats why I don't like the Bgief method, I have to connect it several times in a row, its super stressful to be that lucky that many times

I DID INVERSE WORLD 1 !

The only reason I was even able to do this AT ALL because they scale up your entire party to Lvl 250 and provide preset equipment. Yes, being higher ranked means you are better, but Beast Zangief was able to pull his normal bullshit because of these conditions

BUT this still took me a few hours to do, but I did it, I got all like 400 A rank and B rank Fragments each for this non sense

Stuck on 24-40 now. I just don't have the damage to overcome the Zangief-Elena-Poison-Bison combo, and Bison just shreds.

Also stuck on Floor 297 of Supreme Fist. Mad Ryu just keeps soloing with Hadoukens chaining.

Basically, I'm level 239 on my squad except Chun-Li who is still 220 and I am 6k Break Stones away from being able to level her up more. With an upgraded Chun-Li I can probably make it happen.

I haven't gotten 100% on any Inverse Worlds yet, but I'll probably try that when I get Chun-Li leveled up and I can level up everyone else too.

I also got zero Akumas. I imagine he's meant to be extremely rare.

Finally got my whole squad to 239 now, but to get to 240 you need 50k break stones which is terrible. Break stone drop rate is just abysmal. So now I'm left to using cars and equipment to try boosting my characters. Still struggling on 24-40 but I think I can get it.

Also, new Wonderland Training stages! They have plenty of good items there.

Unfortunately very common in gacha games (as I'm shown you've experienced before), and I've gone through that many many times.

That said.....I pulled Akuma in 3 multis. Of course him being just at A-rank doesn't do much good in the long run.

I'm hoping I can just get him to S rank. I won't even use him, it will..just look better than A rank

The thing with gachas is that these events will all rotate. So if you pull only one Akuma this time, or only one Maga Ken last time, they'll come around with these same events later.

I think I hit my ceiling with the elemental towers. My strongest team is my wind team, and I can't get past 124.

Whew, I finally beat 24-40. That was hell. Eventually I realized I needed to whittle down Zangief-Elena-Poison because the back up M. Bison would come in too early and just wreck shop. So I put my assist spots on my Chun-Li and Beast Gief so they would do more AoE damage instead. Eventually when Zangief went down, I was able to get Elena down immediately after. Then it was just luck managing to stuff combos to keep them from doing tons of damage.

Onto 25.

I got Fei Long and Evil Ryu to SS+

thats 3 with Guile

Chunners is now SS

and Beast Zangief is S+!

soon enough I'm gonna have to start promoting my B and C listers now

It ended up being Viper, the OG of my team. I just kept drawing dupes of her and decided to dump resources into her to get her up there

I know this is the golden rule you're not supposed to break but I sacrificed an A+ Adon to get her there

shes now, on paper at least, 100k more stronger than Guile, my previous strongest, but I haven't tested her in battle yet

...maybe I should just link Fashion Blanka to her and use him instead?

I have been stuck on 20-17 because it has a Beast Zangief faster than mine , so I can't cheese it

SHE JUST OUT MUSCLED EVERYONE IN THERE HOLY SHIT

Whew, I FINALLY just beat 25-20. Just completely brutal. Abel-Bison-Cammy-Beast Gief. I basically let myself do dailies and the minimum to get my stuff while I was on vacation and eventually got enough resources. The trick was to use Chun-Li's combo ender instead of Mad Ryu's since her's is AOE and hits people behind Bison too instead of Mad Ryu getting stuck hitting an invincible Bison. Bison's combo end blast and his revive blast just does too much damage. Eventually, I got lucky enough to take out Beast Gief and Bison at the same time.

Currently sitting at:

Beast Gief: SSS 4*, level 240
Abel: SSS 4*, level 239
Chun-Li: SSS 2*, level 240
Mad Ryu: SSS 3*, level 240 (+3 SSS Cars)

Made it to Level 311 on Supreme Fist. Now, I just need to get Abel to 240, then max out SSS ranks, and then actually start completing Inverse Worlds, but those aren't fun and I hate playing them.

And then I probably need to think about switching up teams after I get SSS 5* on everyone. Beast Gief stays, but I'll probably start working towards including Guile since apparently he's one of the strongest. I've apparently gotten past the point of Mad Ryu being top tier now, but I'll run him probably until I max his SSS levels and then use Guile instead.

Ayyyy I finally hit 240 with my squad, which changes everything over to a monument for some reason, meaning you level up all of your characters under Limit Break at the same time.

Everyone is 268 now! Everyone is also a lot stronger now too. I should be able to power through a lot more now!

This power boost is ridiculous. Ahahaha.

I went from being absolutely stuck on 25-40 to being able to just mash and win through 25-40. Finished 25-40 on the first try. Absolutely insane power boost when you get to 240.
