I (along with another trans user) were banned from that subreddit when I questioned not only the effectiveness of said boycott but how I view it as counter productive to use the boycott as a way to "filter out the true trans allies", especially when almost all of the people posting in that topic agreed that the game will sell well regardless. If you're going to use such a stupid barometer like that on something you know is going to perform well regardless, you're basically setting yourself up for failure. Almost all the responses to me were people calling me a "troll" or "alt right", even though I never had a history of posting of either of the things. I was in a decent discussion with another user that disagreed with me and they got banned because they said how dumb it was that I got banned in a middle of a good discussion. Honestly, I'm not missing out on much anyways. They'll occasionally get it right by standing for trans rights, and then they'll just immediately take part in harassment. Completely lack of awareness imo. I've seen them do the same shit around the whole Dunkey vs. Xenoblade/Sonic Frontier too. They sided with Dunkey and took part in harassment campaigns.
