There's a demographic that like these kinda games. Difficult = good. The harder the better.

I prefer chill games like Stardew Valley and Minecraft.

word. These are the same folks that made Ninja Gaiden. Which arguably started the punch a hole in your wall over a boss platform.

Hard to have fast-paced, intense fights when the player isn't required to be fast.

I've heard it helps to hold block and then try to deflect as opposed to doing them seperately.

But for the first boss, if it's still Zhang Liang: his first phase you wanna be super aggressive because you can hit stun him with every attack, if you're fast/good enough you can permanently stun lock him until phase two. Phase two, I don't really have any tips for aside don't commit to long attack animations cause he seems to like to do lots of quick unblockable moves, those red ones you gotta counter.

I like difficult bosses but they made difficult boring. It's not really that difficult you just have to stay awake long enough to parry parry parry parry attack ad nauseum. There's not much variation to keep it engaging.

First phase
Stun lock until dead

Second phase
Block non red attacks
deflect red attack and punish
Dont get greedy.

Check your equip weight %.
The lower your tier the easier it is to deflect.

did i get a bugged copy of the game or something, i'm on like chapter 5 and i thought the game was really easy, and i odn't think i'm anything special at souls games. Hell I killed the first boss on my first attempt lol the deflect window is EXTREMELY generous compared to many other games

Use a fast weapon and low equip load to imorove parry timing.

sacrifice runs to get parry timings down for those glowing red attacks. this game wants you to be aggressive but you shouldn't actually be THAT aggressive. i swear if i try to do even a small combo with dual swords i'm getting bopped in the middle of it every time on bosses. play defense.

Just started the game. I love all of the different appearance templates. I'm one of those spends way too much time in CC gamers.
