v1.0/1.1 on PC is the only non-gimped version of this game. It's crazy how much they fucked the game up the more they messed with it

As someone who finally played GTA 5 recently, I can say with absolute certainty what I've said for nearly 20 years: GTA San Andreas is still the best GTA game. The ones that came after don't even come close

The game was very fun, but man, the controls SUCK. It makes you quickly remember that once upon a time, developers didn't have standardized button mapping (like L2 to ADS and R2 to fire). I mean, R1 to ADS and [] to fire? DA FUQ?

After semi beating ac odyssey, I've come to realize that GTA San Andreas is the real odyssey all along. Going from gang based territory warfare in Los Santos, to all the stuff we were doing in San Fierro, to owning a casino in Las Ventras... and finally it all coming full circle and returning to the promised land Los Santos. Truly is the best GTA game of all time.
