Specifically in interrogation

Like, there's literally video of a kid who was outright told they have proof connecting him to a crime he didn't commit, then immediately telling him he's not allowed to lie.

How the fuck is this acceptable? It's literally the first thing they went to after being told they can't beat confessions out of people.
