There's really not much to it as I just started collecting. CE actually helped me figure out what to buy to get started. I don't even have enough yet to justify buying standard KALLAX shelving.

The Sony PS-LX310BT is connected to Edifier R1850DB Active Bookshelf Speakers through RCA audio cables. Because they're active, I don't need an amp. I use the same speakers with my computer through Bluetooth, so they're just sitting under the monitor as pictured.

Loop Experience Pro earplugs - the "pro" model adds the extra inner ring that increases reduction from 15dB to 18dB. Was at a 10 day festival last July and lost one of the regular Loop plugs I had while sitting down and eating away from the stages. Now that I'm used to them, there's no way I was going to finish the fest without protection so I ordered these for next day to the hotel.

Turns out that I found the lost plug the next day near where we were, so I decided to use the original ones the day we were front rail for Rage Against the Machine since I'd be fine losing them now that I have better ones. About 25 minutes into RATM's 1.5 hour set one gets knocked out from a crowd surfer, then the other sometime later. After the set I lean over the rail and see one, so I reach over and grab it. Security is herding us out, but my partner sees the other one under the rail grate. He's trying to get us to go to lost and found the next day, but that would be garbaged since it's just an ear plug, so she stands the guards down and fishes it out after a couple minutes, I thank the guards for their patience, and we take off, bruised but rocked.

So now I have two pairs, which helps when family goes to a show with us. Buy some earplugs designed for shows if you don't already! Your hearing is important and damage is cumulative. Probably gonna spend the dollars for a custom mould in the next couple years.
